Engaged by Populous and LOCOG as Olympic Overlay Experts, WJ events works with the team of LOCOG Overlay Architects with planning on two-thirds of the off-park Olympic venues.
World Equestrian Games
For over four years, WJ events partnered with the World Equestrian Games Foundation in Lexington, Kentucky USA as Senior Expert Advisors to produce the Operations Management Plan and overlay design for the largest World Equestrian Games in history.
FIFA Federations Cup and FIFA World Cup South Africa
WJ events was part of the design and operations management team effort while in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa for the four stadium venues utilized for the 2009 Confederations Cup and established benchmark performance criteria for the six remaining FIFA World Cup venues.
ICC Cricket World Cup
As the lead overlay architects for the National Organizing Committees of Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada and Jamaica, WJ events managed the interface of legacy stadium construction with the overlay design/operations planning for the four stadium competition venues from inception to event day control center operations.
