World Equestrian Games

Lexington, Kentucky

The quadrennial World Equestrian Games will be held in September-October of 2010 in Lexington, Kentucky. This is the first time this event has been held outside of the European continent. This represents the single largest equestrian event ever held in the United States.

The Kentucky Horse Park will host the world championships for eight equestrian disciplines at the same location for the first time: dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, para-equestrian, reining, show jumping and vaulting.

Organized by the World Games Foundation, the Games are governed by the Federation Equestre International (FEI), the international governing body of equestrian sport recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
